Epson's focused giving program is designed to reinforce the company's commitment to good corporate citizenship by responding to the communities in which it operates by funding noteworthy programs that benefit large and culturally diverse populations. The geographic regions to which Epson extends priority consideration are Long Beach and the greater Los Angeles areas of California, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, New York City and Washington, D.C.

Epson participates in a variety of community activities that involve civic, charitable, cultural and educational endeavors. On a year-round basis, the company considers proposals for cash contributions and/or underwriting support, in-kind donations of Epson digital imaging equipment (see product list below or visit www.epson.com) and/or sponsorships consisting of cash and/or equipment. New grant recipients are eligible for grants up to $5,000 market value. The company's fiscal year begins April 1.

Organizations that submit proposals must be well-established, well-managed and financially sound. Epson's primary areas of focus are education, digital arts and environmental stewardship. Priority will be given to non-profits, arts organizations, educational institutions, libraries, museums and like facilities that seek to improve society through programming that is appropriate, relevant and valuable to K-12 youth and:

Donation and/or sponsorship requests must be typewritten on the requesting organization's letterhead and submitted by mail to the applicable contact below:
Organizations may submit only one proposal in a 12-month time period; proposals received by Epson via email or fax will not be considered.

Each organization's charter, target market, programs and financial standing are carefully screened and assessed over a period of up to approximately 60 days. If your proposal is declined, a letter will be mailed to the applicant organization; if a proposal has been granted, entirely or partially, the applicant organization will be contacted by phone or email with the particulars.
