Connecting to a computer...

When connecting to a computer, what type or port is actually on the printer? Is it usb (traditional rectangular shaped) or is it the other end that is typically on most printers, the more square looking port. I'd like to use this printer primarily connected to my computer. Please identify which cable is needed. Thanks

Hello, my name is Syd and I am with Epson America

As with all of our USB printers, the port is in the back and a Standard A to B USB cable is needed. The rectangle shape is the A port (on the computer) and the nearly square port is the B port (on the printer). Any computer or electronics store should have this universal cable.

Pictures coming out with lines on them (and black streaks on the back)

First set of 20 pictures were amazing - then put in new ink cartridge and only the first picture printed out nicely. The rest all had varying degrees of vertical lines covering the entire picture. What causes this and is it fixable?
