Troubleshoot:Printer prints double side on same side of paper

Q:

My printer would print duplex (double sided paper) just fine until all of a sudden after a double sided print job, it prints it all on one side, it shows that it has been printed double side on the same side of paper and it doesn't do it anymore. Why?

Greetings. You might verify that the paper rack is not overfilled, putting pressure on the runners/rollers in the printer. You might also consider carefully cleaning the rollers in the printing area, using lint-free cloth and high-percentage (90% or more!) Isopropyl Alcohol or 100% Acetone. Be sure to have a fan blowing across the area after cleaning so the cleaning agent will evaporate completely. Manually rotate the roller axles to assure rollers dry completely. Good Luck!

This can be from either a printer problem itself, or a settings change from your computer. To verify, try making a double sided copy or print from a usb or memory card. If this works correctly, it is a difinite setting that was somehow updated on the computer.

The printhead is designed to last the life of the printer and not user removable. It does have the same warranty as the rest of the printer if defective. If there is a clogged nozzle issue as shown in the nozzle or self test, this may be resovled by running a cleaning cycle. If this does not resolve the issue, a techcnician may also be able to resolve it by cleanings and often not require a replacement. However, this usually only occurs when the printer is not used for many months at a time.

No, it is similar however the inks in the US would not work with that model. They would need to be purchased from the country you bought the printer in. Also you would need to use their driver and contact them for any support including parts or warranty. When moving to a different country, buying in that destination country is recommended.

Use the advanced photo printing settings.
When the photo printing wizard opens, click Printing Preferences. Open Main tab and click Best Photo. Open Advanced tab and set Color Mode to Epson Vivid.

Unfortunately there is a very large difference in paper between manufacturers. If the printer works well with all other types of media (including Epson photo paper), we can only recommend contacting Kodak for printer settings recommendations.

No, letter/A4 size is only available for auto duplexing. A card or other size would get jammed when doing the flip. Manual duplex would be needed.
