I'm about to purchase an Epson WP4540. When I use the facsimile function, may I use my iPhone 5 mobile telephone? Or must I have a telephone wire installed in my home to use the facsimile function?

With all of our models, we recommend using a land line direct phone. As faxing requires a much higher quality line than regular voice calls, we can only suggest this setup.

No, this would require a TPU (transparancy unit adapter). This feature is only available on our scanner models and not our all-in-ones.

This can be done by doing a copy without putting any paper in the scanner. It will simply form feed a blank page. Doing this a few times should get the ink off of the rollers.

There are many variables involved with scanning. The largest factor is network speed. If the unit is on a wireless network and set to a high DP setting, an enormous amount of data is sent to the computer. You may want to consider USB or scanning to a USB memory drive to increase speed.
The CPA specified he wants only one file with all 60 pages? He may appreciate 2 or even 3 files with 20 or 30 pages instead of one very large file.

Unfortunately we would not have this feature with any of our current models, this would require seperate login accounts per for each dept to keep track of prints. A computer with much more processing power and memory would be needed.
