Does this unit have built in wireless, or does it require the additional module?

In areas of the Specs it seems to indicate that it is built in, but in other areas it clearly states an optional wireless network.

Hello, my name is Syd and I am with Epson America

You can connect the projector to your existing wireless network (with internet access) using the projector's infrastructure setting, and then send the video out from your computer over the same network. This way your computer has both internet access and can display to the projector wirelessly. However this is recommended for still pictures only as streaming video will likely be too much data for the network itself and will not show smooth video. For streaming video we strongly recommend a video connection such as HDMI. this way the projector can show movies and streaming video, and also browsing the internet smoothly with out a very large amount of network traffic caused by video.

This will vary depending on your version of MacBook. If equipped, we recommend using HDMI and set the mac too send video out that port. This would be the same procedure for all computers. An external port would be required and the OS told to use this port.

Question about the microphone speaker part of the projector

I am looking at creating sort of an easy mobile presentation unit. I am wanting to get an Ipad that can connect to a projector wirelessly and found this to do presentations. I saw the 16 watt microphone section with the description. Could you connect a wireless mic with thisoption.

No, there is one microphone standard mini-stereo port only. This is a direct wired connection only. Wireless is not supported.

The projector does have multiple ports that can work with a cable box, however you would need to make sure your comcast cable box has the same output.
Also the resolution of the projector is 1024 x 768 (XGA) not 1080. You may want to contact 1-800-GO-EPSON as they can more quickly go over what type of connector or adapter you may need to work with your cable box.

This is done by a manual focus ring on the lens itself. As this is a one time focus, it should be done at the time of mounting the projector. If not moved, there should not be any further need to adjust.

Can this projector be used wirelessly by a Mac?

We purchased this projector for a small church auditorium. We do not have a network set up. It looks like this projector can be run wirelessly by only a PC. If we want to use a Mac do we have to set up a network? What is the simplest way to do this? Or should we use a really long cable up into the ceiling and then routed back to the church podium. What kind of cable will work going that distance?
