The best way to troubleshoot color management is to determine where the issue is coming from. By using another program such as safari or internet explorer, print a web page with text/image such as
www.epson.com or any popular site. If the images look good, the issue is with a PhotoShop setting as it is the only program causing the dull color.
If a website also has the issue, the next step would be to do a nozzle check on the printer. If this shows missing nozzles, a cleaning would be needed. Note: Do not run cleanings until you have ran the nozzle check. If the nozzle check looks good, cleaning are not needed and will not change the print. You would only be wasting ink by running multiple cleanings and the nozzle check looks good.
Using this method, you can determine if the cause of the issue is coming from the printer itself, driver setting or application setting and you can adjust accordingly.
