For your application, you may want to consider a MovieMate or Home Cinema line. These models are more for the home movie/gaming experience. Using the Image Size Calculator on the website, you can see how close the projector can be for your size of screen. These models would be preferable as the contrast ratio is much higher allowing much more richer colors and tones. Also a model such as HC-8350 is designed for high speed gaming in mind.
We have a number of items on clearence and refurbished making these high end models often more affordable than the one you mentioned. They all come with a full warranty and lamp, the same as new.
