Rated 5 out of 5 This is my first Epson Printer. I'm very pleased with it so far.
It is a lot easier to use than the other large printers I've and I love the results.

Compared to my other printers the R2000 seems to use excessive amounts of the Gloss Optimizer and Cyan inks.
Prints look under exposed.

Rated 4 out of 5 printing in Scottsdale
The R2000 was easy to set-up, especially the wireless set-up. Print quality is great for a printer in this price range. I have only two complaints, which are the same issues that I had with my old R1800 printer. First, a significant amount of ink evaporates even when the printer is not in use. Even in periods when it is not used much, the ink will disappear. Be prepared to constantly be buying ink cartridges. The second issue is that it does not have the option to print text black and white when one of the color cartridges is empty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GraphicChipmunk Beautiful prints... if you can get it to print
I love the print quality on this Epson, but it has always had feeding issues, and they have become much worse since the firmware update last summer. I am so frustrated! At this point, only copier-weight paper can be printed more than one sheet at a time... maybe. I have been trying to print on a Moab paper. It spits out, literally, at least 20 for every one sheet it will deign to print. And in order to get it to print on that one sheet, I have to carefully push it in and hold it in a certain way. It won't just take it from the tray by itself. And it will not let me use the single-sheet feeder, because it is a 5"x7" paper. This is ludicrous! This is not a particularly textured, thick or soft paper. I am not trying to print on something exotic. This is a regular inkjet paper that any reasonable printer should accept. But this is no longer a reasonable printer.
I have used nothing but Epson printers since I got my first computer in the 90s, and have always recommended Epson to everyone I know. But the R2000 might be the last Epson I ever buy. Nobody should have this much frustration just trying to print a few pages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jcox47 In short I love my R2000. I will go to Epson with all of my printer needs. I will buy a wider format from Epson when I can afford their price.
FYI Epson Managers, this is the third or forth time I have registered my product. I check "my printers" and neither one shows up. I also have a WF3540. This chore of registering several times is bothersome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KarvL Purchased this 2 years ago. It has not been used for the last year. Performed a nozzle check and clean per maintenance instructions and it is working perfectly. I bought this to use with my Silhouette Cameo for large invitations and custom party favors, etc. I couldn't be more pleased with it.

I have found this this is an excellent printer, offering photo lab or near photo lab results for both photographs and fine art. Although it can serve as an everyday use printer, the ink cost has been found to be prohibitive. I have found that this printer requires a degree of routine use to prevent the need for the cleaning operation.

When my old Epson wide format wore out I went out and got the R2000. I needed to print a wedding picture for delivery that day. The printer worked perfectly right out of the box, no adjustments required. The print looked exactly like the image on my monitor.

I bought a display model. Brought it home and install everything correctly. The printer only prints blank pages no matter what I try. I have installed brand new ink cartridges which are very expensive.
