Epson Expression Home XP-300 Small-in-One® All-in-One Printer
will never buy an EPSON printer again
I bought my XP300 to use at home...light b&w printing and occasional photo. The color ink cartridges mysteriously go empty even if you are only printing in b&w, and the cost to replace the ink cartridges is almost as much as the cost of the printer ! (BTW, you can't print in b&w if a color cartridge is empty) Also, for some reason, it has never let me change the settings from photo paper to plain paper so it takes forever to print one page of b&w text..
This is the first EPSON printer I have ever purchased, and it will certainly be my LAST.

Continuous printing problems since owned. Main problem would seem to be in the ink nozzles. Often have had problems with a lack of ink on the page even when the ink levels are OK.

We have used our Epson XP-300 Series For graduation invitations, school documents, On line info & mostly for game playing. We are very happy with all of our results. Easy to use & would recommend to all to purchase one.

I find it to be a well priced 3 in 1 printer that is easy to setup and does everything that i need it to do.

I bought the product. took it home. tested it everything seemed to work find. I was happy. so i let it sit like a part of my proud collection lol. months went by. Until I needed it. Hey guess what now I need ink. Okay so I buy ink sadly. so I'm ready now. But now it will only push the paper through without typing anything. My question is. Could this be its way of punishing me for not using it, Or is it just a load of garbage. You decide

you get what you pay for
I have constant problems with this product. From the time I bought it up to now (2 years) it has been a total pain. I should have paid more for a better product. Pain to setup (often can't get it to work). Pain to maintain (uses too much ink, cartridges cost too much, too hard to change wifi connection when network changes and much more). Don't buy this unless you don't mind fiddling with peripherals.

Constant troubleshooting with this printer
I purchased this computer largely in part because it is wireless, but the printer is always offline. Nothing I have done can get it back online, ever. After troubleshooting online, I've tried a couple of suggestions, but none of them has gotten my printer back online.
Okay. No problem. I can just hook it up with the cord - annoying, but the printer will still work, right? Well, within just a few weeks of buying it, and in needing to print an important document for an interview, the printer heads went out of alignment. I knew this because lines started showing up in everything I printed. I'm sure this happens to all printers, but just a few weeks after purchase seems soon. I cleaned the printer heads many times and that resolved the issue, but I wasn't able to print what I needed for the job interview.
The ink seems to run out really fast, and today when I replaced the ink with a brand new ink cartridge, the black ink didn't even work. It didn't print a test page and nothing I'm printing is using black ink. I'm sure I could once again troubleshoot and fix this problem, but I shouldn't have to be my own personal tech support in order to own and operate a basic printer. Not even worth the trouble - I'm just going to go out and buy a new printer, and I will definitely buy a different brand.

For the money you can't go wrong, this XP-300 exceeds all my expectations. This printer is by far the very best printer I have ever owned. A lot of my printing is for labels and business letters, I have had this XP-300 for over than a year. All of my printing needs are of heavy use and the Epson XP-300 has never failed me. It is also important to note that the cost of replacement ink is reasonable compared to other brands and this means higher profits for my business.

Photo paper and the XP 300
When printing with photo paper, I have to feed the individual sheet of photo paper (using Premium Brilliant Gloss) into the machine about 50 times before it will print. Other times it will print on the second try. I'm ready to throw this printer out the window. I also don't like that it will NOT print if one of the colors is out and all I need is black. It will not let one print unless it has ink for all colors. Frustrated!
