Overall good printer
Good speed and quality. Mostly self explanatory and easy to use. Wi-Fi setup wizard a little clunky.
Works for my wife's high demand Real Estate business.

Epson WorkForce WF-3540 exceeds expectations
I know y'all are gonna think I work for Epson but I'm truly ecstatic over my Epson WorkForce WF-3540 AIO printer. I've owned several all-in-one printers. At first I thought, "What if the printer breaks, then the scanner will be useless." They do eventually stop working but by then they're often obsolete.
I've owned several printers, including Epson. I've never seen one of better quality than Epson, even the famous HP. But after all, it's VALUE that makes the difference. My WF-3540 with professional grade sheet feeder, two-sided copy, and wireless capability truly make it perfect for the small office.
I've had mine just over 2 years. The ink is expensive but no worse than other printers including the famous Kodak which promised cheaper ink. I've owned both. In the long run I've found the Epson better quality and less expensive to operate when you consider overall cost.
You would not believe how much money you save in wasted paper by setting your 2-sided printer to automatically print 2-sided copies. We've cut our output nearly in half! I've printed about 30 reams (15,000 pages) without so much as a burp. I have not kept up with how many ink cartridges we've purchased but we print a lot. We find ourselves paying only a little more for ink but less for paper AND a LOT less for a new printer (this one replaced two others and has outlasted both).
In total cost per printed page, if you include the cost of wasted paper and having to buy a new printer every year to 18 months, this Epson is far LESS expensive to operate and lots more fun. I can do anything the big guys can do except large scale print (larger than legal size).
If someone asked, "Would you recommend this printer," my response would be an immediate, "Heck yeah!"

I have had this printer for about a year. It is rather large for a home printer and if you are a little tight on space I would recommend a smaller printer. However, if you are not too cramped for desk space or you have a separate printer stand to place it on it will make an excellent addition to your home office or simply as a personal printer to print documents or pictures, fax, copy, or scan documents to email.
It is a quick and sharp printer. The copies it makes are crisp and clear. The ink cartridges are easy to replace. The paper is easy to load and it has two cassettes so that you can print documents or pictures without having to change paper; or if you are printing two different size documents all you have to do is change cassettes in properties instead of changing the paper out. I normally keep 8.5" x 11" in cassette one and 8.5" x 14" in cassette two.
The pictures I have printed out are very crisp and detailed.
The document feeder works really well and I have not had it jam up or misfeed on me yet.
The flatbed scanned works really well for items that will not go through the feeder.
The only drawback that I have found is that the ink cartridges are a little expensive and run out rather quickly. I would recommend finding a good recycled cartridge retailer to lower your printing costs.
This printer has performed very well for me and I would recommend it to anyone for a personal or small business operation.

Major problems with paper feeding
This printer really struggles to feed only one sheet at a time, to print straight and according margins set in a document (due to paper feeding incorrectly), and to print from the automatic feeder on top. Perhaps I have a lemon, but I am very unhappy with this printer if I am doing anything more complicated than printing a single sheet at a time. Printing multiple copies of a booklet, for example, has been a nightmare.

BEWARE! IT WILL COST YOU A FORTUNE IN INK!
The product itself preforms flawlessly. However, if you are like the average family/student and will need to print school work or any assignments; this thing is terrible! They have chips in the ink cartridges that do not allow them to be refilled! So Epson will continue to see lots of your money because you must buy NEW ink cartridges every time they run dry. Oh and don't think that if you run out color, you can just switch to black and white! OH NO THEY PUT A BLOCK AND THE PRINTER WILL NOT PRINT AGAIN UNTIL IT IS FILLED WITH GENUINE ($$$$$$) EPSON INK CARTRIDGES! Had I known I would have NEVER purchased!

Name "WorkForce" says it all....
Love this printer. Speed. Economical (don't have to refill all cartridge to print). Scan. Fax. Wi-Fi. Well worth the money spent.

The Workforce is an awesome printer. Setup was such a breeze (including setting up the WiFi printing on three different devices) that I felt that surely I was forgetting to do everything. The print quality is wonderful and the printer speed is off the scale. This printer is so much better than any other ink jet printer I've ever owned!
