Worst Home Printer Ever
I basically own a large paperweight. It is supposed to be a wireless printer, however, it of course will not pick up any networks. I got it to work once by placing the computer, printer and router all within inches of each other and that worked for about 2 minutes. It supposedly will work with a USB cable as well, which of course is not included with the printer. DO NOT purchase this printer for your home.

slow
I recently purchanced this and when read ir was fast i was looking forward to useing it. However it is the slowest printer I've ever used, it must be me or my unit. When I print 3 pages of stensels I almost have to shave between the first and last page. Does anyone have an ideas?

New out of the box
Would not recognized brand new black ink cartridge .All printers today are a piece of work. Not worth the money for the units or the ink cartridges. The companies are stealing from the general public with the garbage that is on the market.I guess the best way to have printing done is at the print shops. No units to get headaches over or the useless expensive cartridges that stop working with have full with ink.

Broke Immediately
Had it only a month or two and won't work at all. It can't even feed paper to the printer. Jams every time. No many how many pages or how many adjustments. It fails every try. Very frustrating for how much it costs.

It's all good now.
Last week I wrote a review of the Workforce WF-2540 and gave it 3 stars. I stated that if the problems I had with this printer were resolved, I would amend my previous review. Well, they were, and here it is.
I change my verdict of the WF-2540 to FIVE stars. 1) The Automatic Document Feed (ADF) that I couldn't get to work apparently works very nicely when there are at least two documents to copy. Only one document to copy? Open the lid and put the document on the glass. I fed two documents into the ADF and it worked just like it should.
2) The slow speed of copies was instantly fixed when I set the printer to print on PLAIN PAPER instead of photo paper. Changing that setting was very counter-intuitive for me (it involves using the Stop/Reset Button), but I will blame that on pilot error, not the printer.
I am now very pleased with my WF-2540. Seems like a very good printer at a very reasonable price.

WF-2540
I really needed a printer that I could use with my work computer on days I work from home. The WF-2540 has its own e-mail address which allows me to print my work documents without installing the printer drivers to the computer! I love having the ability to print from all my mobile devices. This is my second Epson printer. The print quality is excellent. I haven't used it long enough to know if the ink cartridges last as long as Epson claims. If you're looking for "anywhere" printing, this is the printer your looking for!

AWWWW...
I bought this printer a couple of months ago; install is way to long but it has great features and works with both Mac's and PCs. We recently had a power outage and now IT WON'T work. I spent 4 hours uninstalling the software on two of my computers, deleting all instances of the previous printer and reinstalling the software, still not working. EVEN USING THE USB cable, the installation software keeps erroring and I am now it works for no one. The FAQ's and help is NO HELP. There are no options to setup the different functions separately-i.e. epsonconnect, wifi, scanning, physical printing. It seems to be all or nothing. I'm very irritated!

Great Machine
this printer is amazing so easy to print and scan however it has amazing picture quality .mobile printing is very easy to work . Printer size is perfect for my room . very very easy installation.
i love this Printer .it helps me alot and like a Ultimate Machine

Only a Minor Complaint
Love this all-in-one. Compact, easy to set-up and great print quality. However, why they don't make the XL cartridges the standard is beside me. I think it would be safe to assume that whoever purchases one of these is going to use it! When you "use it" the regular cartridges don't last very long. XL's going forward. Would have been nice right out of the box! Must be about price point.

Worst installation EVER
I am pretty well versed in computers and having to get new printers... the reason I got this printer was for the AirPrint option that my last wireless printer did not have.
I am RETURNING this piece!
It had the worst installation process I have EVER had to deal with!!! It NEVER would recognize the computer after I intstalled it (even with a USB cord... which OF COURSE was not included and had to be bought separately)!!
This day and age... there should be absolutely NO issues with installing a printer.
My last Wireless printer took 30min to install in 4 different computers (Mac and PC).... This piece took over 3.5hrs for just my PC and it STILL does not recognize it every time I want to print! What a waste of my life!
