Rated 1 out of 5 by Mustang Problem with user-defined copy
I managed to get the print function running from the machine and the wireless connected computer using standard 8.5"x 11" paper very easily. My recreational use, though involves 9"x12" material, which is not an available size. An available multiple (12"x 18") is readily available and within the instrument's listed capability but is not considered a standard size. The User's Manual doesn't give a novice (I am a novice) clear direction on setting up user-defined sizes. I have not succeeded. This is the purpose of the machine. I am not happy. Is my rating "Poor" because of the machine or the manual?

Tried my new Epson WF 7610 printing pictures, first an 8x10 which worked fine but when I tried to print 5x7, I could not find an option to print this format. Download and reinstalled the install software installed printer via network, resend a 5x7 to print it's now 10 min after and still no picture being printed. printer is connected via network.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Engineer-R The WF-7610 does a great job. I use it at home for a variety of printing and copying/scanning jobs. I like it's speed, the ability to print both sides and the ability to copy a stack of pages. I like it so much after using it for a few months that I got a second one to hook to the PC in my shop.

Over the past 20 yrs, I've had a number of Epson printers--all kept for years and upgraded periodically. Now have Epson Stylus Photo 1400 (oldest), Epson Stylus Photo R2000, and now WorkForce WF-7610.
Use first two for different reasons, but new 'go-to' is the WF-7610 because of the speed it prints and the multi-dimensional tasks it performs. Still haven't taken time to figure out how to get double-sided copies (easier to just turn 1400 paper over and re-feed. Also loving the larger-size scans. Great value!

While this printer is over twice the size I expected it would be--I expected it to be about the size of the CX5000 it replaced--it's great because of the waterproof ink (the reason I chose an Epson replacement), the fact it takes 11x17 paper so that with a Long Reach Stapler I can print my own catalogs! It does automatic double-sided printing using 24# paper or heavier (20# you can see some of the back on the front). The photos I printed on the Epson Photo Paper came out awesome! Same for the business cards! Keep regular paper in the main tray, and use the rear feeder for special sizes or papers (photo, biz-card, envelopes) and not remove regular paper. Auto-feed scanning means you don't need to position the paper unless you need (as in a book) or want to. The WiFi hookup is awesome! Cable-free anywhere in range! This was designed for businesses. I haven't tried the Optical Character Recognition. I never had any success with ANY OCR program and am reluctant to try it, so yes, if I need OCR, I end up typing it longhand. Someone tell me this works. In my mind, OCR is like the dream of the flying car.

A good printer, solid, good output. A bit noisy while printing. Shuts itself down after about 5 minutes. I expected a faster output, but it's satisfactory. I wonder why Epson has to have a different set of inks with every model, I have 3 Epson's, all requiring a different set of inks.

I have owned this product for about a 14 months. it has never worked properly. there are features that I like about product and would like to be able to use it. I have now registered the product 2x (I think-I registered initially when we purchased the product. and now again. I've gotten a confirmation today regarding product registeration. when I try to use certain features it shows my product as unregistered. this is very frustrating.

Works as promised, only small issue is the ink can be touchy getting locked in. Wifi is great.

Would have been 5 Stars except, the wrong power card was included. A two (2) prong power cord instead of the required three (3) prong cord. Assembled by: PIP0370 A.R.
Otherwise every thing is OK!

great printer for the price.
I'm a mechanical engineer so for my home office the wide format was a must.
11 x 17 is a standard B size print and it gives great results.
I did have to tweak the presets a bit to get the kind of print that worked for mechanical drawings, but other than that a super printer so far.
The wireless setup is easy and works well.
have not figured out yet if you can enlarge a copy though.
Anyway would recommend the purchase to others. I actually have 2 of them one for the office and one for home.
