Rated 3 out of 5 by Mimmy I Can't Believe It's an Epson!
I have had 5 Epson printers and loved 4 of them. This one is a lemon. I now wish I had purchased a second photo printer. With my Epson 1270 and 1280 photo printers, I have printed thousands of photos, collages, etc., and the 1280 is still a better printer than this WorkForce. After using about 3 times, it refuses to feed paper without jamming. The irony of it all, it jammed right in the middle of printing and will not take another sheet of paper without doing the same thing...even after following all of Epson's instructions. I think it is a dud. I guess for the cost and color, it is worth a 3 star, but right now, I'd rather give it 1 star.

Avoid this printer unless you have lots of time to waste. Between trying to resolve the constant error messages and having to change the very small ink cartridges you'll have no time left to do your work. And don't get me started on paper jams. Purchasing this particular model was a mistake but hopefully it will make a great anchor for my boat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sammy Java Good large format day-to-day workhorse
There aren't a lot of inexpensive printers that support 11x17 printing, which is a requirement of mine, so the WF-7110 fit the bill. I like that it does two-sided printing, and that it works with my Ubuntu Linux computer as well as our Windows machines. Photo printing, however, is bad - there is an excess of red, at least with the default settings, and the prints turn redder with time. This is with high-quality photo paper and Epson ink. So, don't buy this for photos, but buy it if you need a day-to-day workhorse printer.

Let me start with good things - i love Epson printers and their support. Epson is the only inkjet that I buy. I have WorkForce multi-functions in a number of offices and they definitely do the trick. Print quality is good. I would buy one again if I have room for it.....
I did get confused I think when I bought it... I thought WF stood for WorkForce, not WideFormat. My own fault and hopefully this will help someone else with that confusion.
Cons for this printer-
Footprint is HUGE. I was not expecting that. Although I would consider that my own fault after not looking at the dimensions... but really this machine is gigantic.
It is very very noisy. I can't believe how loud this printer is.
When you're replacing ink... the printer allows you to open the lid to replace ink as its going through its processes. what happens is the lid to the cartridges gets the printheads stuck... and the printer can't move the heads. It slips out the gears in it... making a really loud grinding noise and errors out the printer. Just a weird setup.

I have a review from last January shown with a N rather than a M on my name. I, six months later, am still very pleased with this printer as I have already said. The reason for this second review is to praise whatever Epson has done to make the ink go so much further that all previous printers I have ever owned. The black tank is now twice the size it use to be, and all the tanks seem to last much longer. I have been somewhat amazed and very pleased to say the least, so I do not understand the two adverse ink comments.

The printer works as expected. The large paper handling is less helpful. The rear paper feed needs a taller support for longer paper like 11x17 and especially for 13x19 inches. Also, after loading the rear paper tray if the paper is not used in a very short time the printer ejects the paper. Since this printer is targeted to large print customers increasing the ink cartridge capacity would also help in large quantity printing. Other than these short comings the printer prints nice color with sharpness and accuracy for its class.

printer has stopped printing clearly after 3 months. doesn't recognize its own cartridges, a real hassle. Just purchased a different manufacturer's printer...this was my first and last Epson.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gilbert Excellent printer for the price
I sell Booklets and I was looking for a wide laser printer, since I cannot find any I just purchased this one. The starter cartridges give me about 101 color 11" X 14" Inches pages. Settings using parchment paper. (The printer don't comes with the 11" X 14" Inch paper size option so you must go to the printer settings and place the paper size by yourself and save the option. The printer quality is very good and for the price is just what I need.
