In fairness this printer provides average prints. I use this printer to test print layouts. In terms of color management and seeking close match to screen and pantone colors, this printer is just average. Given the cost to replace ink it would maybe better to select a higher end model. The other complaint it won't recognize the new option needed for changing media, it wants to retain the last used setting.

The Epson WorkForce WF-7110 fulfills the needs of my small graphic design business at a reasonable price. I wanted to be able to print 11x17, and I wanted duplex printing. The WF-7110 does both. It prints quickly and accurately although it goes through ink cartridges quickly. It is not for proofing color although it does match CMYK reasonably well. The duplex printing occasionally jams when printing long documents with heavy color coverage. That is the only problem I have had.

I have a one person consulting business as a landscape architect. I need the capacity to print 11x17 size prints but do not do a lot of printing. The Epson works fairly well once you figure out how to use it. It is much more difficult to figure out compared to other printers I've had over the years. The digital display is thoroughly confusing compared to previous printers. I have a hard time figuring it out and just resort to following the display on the computer monitor. I also had a heck of a time trying to figure out how to print checks. That said it prints well when you make it through the frustrating learning process but needs to have the nozzles and heads cleaned frequently. Someone doing more frequent printing will do better than me.

The first WF-7110 I purchased for a college CAD studio would simply not attach to our ethernet network -- not natively, not using the downloadable connection software, not with tech support walking me through it. So the retailer sent another, which did connect successfully, but it has had such problems with the paper feed that it is all but useless. This printer has two trays which we wanted to use for letter and for tabloid paper, and the tabloid would only occasionally work correctly - maybe one time in 20 -- without jamming. Even when we feed single sheets through the top rear slot, as soon as we send a print job, that sheet shoots out the front and the printer picks up a new sheet from the tray. Which then jams.
One last thing - the tiny menu screen makes menu navigation a real pain. You navigate with up/down/left/right buttons, but I can find nowhere a map of the menu choices -- finding your way to the point where you can manually set an IP address, for instance, is very very frustrating. Tech support said that there was no such map -- hard to believe, but that's what he said.
I've had such great results over the years with the Epson Photo Stylus line that I was really looking forward to the WF-7110, but it has been like a bad dream where things just keep getting worse and worse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Epicurus Printing and software
In general, the last 5 months I use it, I have no problems whatsoever.
I encounter though the following problem related to the software, I do not know at what level: In one of my computer, every time I turn the computer ON, I receive the message "is not a correct PRNM" and when I press OK the registration form appears, although I have already registered twice before through the same form.
If you think the pop-ups are related to this software, do you a remedy?

I've always been happy with Epson; bought this printer to handle everyday, nonphoto printing. It jams easily, is quite noisy and, I've been dismayed to discover that paper larger than 8.5x11, or thicker than standard copy paper must be fed through one sheet at a time and it may or may not print.

I couldn't get good photo color on my artusab 1430, so read review of other printers on print review sites. Description was good on this...and the pricing was hard to believe. I bought one, came in first week of January 2016. So far, it has surpassed my picky expectations...what you see on your monitor is what you get, rich detailed color. I am very pleased.
