Epson Stylus Photo R2000 Inkjet Printer
Saving Epson 2000 color settings
I have owned the Epson 1800, 1900 and now the 2000. Unless I haven't read the manuals deeply enough, I find that the 2000 is the only one that does not save the printer settings and tweaks that I make for individually adjusting the color for each photo file I print. I allow the printer to control the color because I need to print from a non-calibrated laptop screen out of necessity. It is an annoyance that I can't save individual settings when I re-save files. Other than that, I am happy with the printer so far.

I've been using the R2000 Inkjet printer for about a month now. Set up went very well. After calibrating my display and setting up the printer to let let my applications control color, I get the exact image print displayed on my monitor.
I also purchased Epson fine art paper samples and loaded the paper profiles in my applications to test paper options. I am printing fine art reproductions and photography for sale. The images look great!
I'm happy very happy with the investment!

I purchased the R2000 as an upgrade from my R1900 which had developed some problems. This is the better printer. The installation was easy and without any problems. The first 13 x 19 print was great, skin tones and overall color were a noticeable improvement from my 4 year old R1900. I would not hesitate to recommend this printer to anyone. It fits my needs better than expected.

So far this printer has performed perfectly. The printouts are beautiful, the Wi-Fi easily set up and in general, the R2000 works as advertised. So far I'm very pleased.
I went from a 4900 to this printer because of horrible head clogging on the 4900 (which is now junked since it's unusable—it would cost me more to have it repaired than to buy a new one). I live in two different places for six months at a time and as a result, the 4900 was not used for extended periods of time. Early on I used an R1900 and despite my 6 month/6 month arrangements, it never had the clogging problem of the 4900...and that is the reason I'm trying the R2000. I will update this review after I go through one or two of the 6/6 cycles.

I've had my new printer about 2 months and it's been a joy to use. Its paper-feed functions are very user friendly and versatile, the color matching is great. Toner usage is very moderate regardless of the printer/paper setting.
My previous printer was a nightmare ... I am delighted I switched every time I make a print! Thank you.

Best Printer Yet
I have been using Epson printers for 20 years and this one is the best yet. I chose this model because it allows me to decide if I want to use Gloss Optimizer on glossy images to make them look like high end prints of the film era, (eliminating the metamerization problem) or do without GO on magnificent papers like Epson Exhibition Fiber which doesn't require GO to look PERFECT. My wish would be for a 17" format printer of the 2000. Sometimes bigger IS better, and a large format glossy print from this printer would stop traffic in any art gallery.
The 2000 is quiet, very fast, and it is cost effective to run. Plenty of prints before a cartridge replacement is needed and no hassles with making the change.
Summing up. I LOVE IT!
Thank you Epson, for a wonderful printer.

Great color, paper handling a little iffy
I've had this printer only a few days, but I've printed about 20 prints on various papers, and I've come to a couple of conclusions: (1) this printer can produce beautiful prints with rich color and great detail. The colors are a little off, but that's because I have yet to calibrate it. (2) the paper handling is not super reliable, as I have had a couple of instances where the printer has grabbed multiple sheets of paper and jammed. This was using regular Epson Glossy Photo Paper. Feeding one sheet at a time is a workaround, but for this price, it should do better.

Purchased this printer in July of 2011. I purchased this model primarily for its photo/picture printing ability and I have not been disappointed. I have printed wallet size through 13" X 19". Its letter/document printing has been more than satisfactory. Yes, I would recommend this printer to anyone.

works great as a wifi printer or as a usb printer. I have used this printer to print photos from 4x6 all the way up to 13x19. It does a great job giving awesome colors and sharpness. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a photo printer to be proud of. I have used it to print 8x10 photos for two cars shows with wonderful results.
