I use this printer for printing school pictures. The results are a bright, clear and true color picture. It is also used for word and spread sheet docs.
Overall I think it is a fantastic value for what you get.

All in one ? more like None in One
This is a great printer if all you’re going to do is wirelessly print documents but if you plan on copying faxing or scanning documents well this is not the printer for you. you can set all the settings to original size w/ no border and scan it and hold the new page up to the original and play this fun game of guess how it distorted it did it shift the image to the left or did it shirk the header or even better putting the whole image at an angle

About ready to junk it after 6 months
Like so many other reviews, this printer DRINKS ink. I would stay away from this one. The nozzles keep clogging and cleaning drains the ink even faster. I've had Epson printers and scanners for years, but this XP-800 has to go.

I love this Epson xp800..It is small enough for our life on a sailboat and we can scan, copy, print, and even fax if we had a landline or an internet fax line...but we do not...cause we do not care to spend money on faxing...it also has 2 sided printing so that non-spatial people like me do not have to figure out how to print on the back side...the printer makes beautiful photos for promotional material and in color with caps to cap off the ink if you are not going to uses the printer for a while...Great features and perfect for us...thanks Epson

I love it!
The XP-800 has been an excellent purchase. The brilliant colors, the wireless feature, the ability to make DVD's with photos and names on the disk cover, and the additional features make you feel as though you can do anything with it...and I am doing just that.
Thanks you to your inventors and staff.

wastes lots of ink
I bought this new late July 2013, now Mar 2014 and I just ran out of a few ink cartridges and replaced them with genuine Epson ink carts. I had to run cleaning 2 times each time I replace one cartridge and the cyan I just installed 2 days before is now 1/2 empty already from all the cleanings. NOT a good track record for ink.
Before this I was very happy with the quality of printing, but way to expensive on ink usage.

A real disappointment
I bought this in Jan. 2013 from the Epson store. While it seemed to use a tremendous amount of ink (although I don't print much), I put up with it. Last month it randomly started not recognizing ink cartridges and required frequent nozzle cleaning (which never completely worked). A new cartridge would last 1 week before the nozzle clogged or it wasn't recognized or it ran out of ink. So, after $60+ in ink in 30 days, I decided to junk it. I will not be replacing it with an Epson.

Epson XP 800
First class in all respects, high quality scanning & printing. Uses less ink than my other printer. Appears to be quite fast on photos, saving time. I needed a water resistant ink for a special application & the Claria Ink did the trick.
