Just purchased the printer last week, so this is a very preliminary review. So far, we love it. Set-up was incredibly easy for all of our devices. The size is perfect for the small space we have to store in and the features are impressive considering its size. Two things that we don't like about it are as follows. The output tray only retracts automatically when you turn the printer off. Because we keep the printer on all the time, we have to manually push the tray in when when we're not using it. Although Epson assures us this is OK to do, it feels wrong. It would be a nice feature if there were a button to retract the tray vs. having to push it in. The second thing is when unsung it with the iPad or iPhone, it would be a nice feature if you were give the option to print in black only. You are given that option only when using a computer. Otherwise, so far, so good.

Two Epson Printers
Have had a WF-7510 about 18 months for printing engineering drawings. It replaced another well known brand that was very unreliable. Just installed an XP-810 to replace a month old printer by that same well known manufacturer which completely failed. Wireless setup of the Epsons is simple, takes only a few minutes, they are RELIABLE and their print quality is excellent. First class machines!

Worst printer-Uses tons of ink
Thought I loved it at first, until I had to change the ink. Then it would not recognize the ink cartridge that it had been using for weeks. Epson sent a black cartridge. Worked for 2 weeks and now it's out of ink again. I can't afford to replace the ink every 2 to 3 weeks. I don't even use that much, maybe 20 pages. Worst ever printer. Free ones worked better.

Epson XP-810 printer
One of my printers died, the one I used to print on CD/DVD's, and I needed to replace it. I wanted another all-in-one unit so if my other printer dies, I won't be without the features I use most, scanning and copying and printing pictures. After looking at several models by different manufactures, I settled on the Epson XP-810 Small-in-one printer. Small footprint, it takes up less space than my old printer. It does it all! I don't need two printers. I can copy, scan, fax, and print on CD/DVD's with this unit. Set up was very easy. I used the USB port to connect to my computer. I printed a few pages, including pictures, and it performs like a charm, and much faster than my other printers. It is wireless capable, and I'll be using it with my laptop, also.
Media slot for SD cards and USB port right on the front for your camera. I won't need to replace my other all-in-one printer when it dies! I'm very happy with this printer, and almost wish the other one had died sooner!

Once you plug it in, the screen as well as the guide pages take you through the process. Two phases were a breeze. The setup for the printer was done by the machine. I went to Epson.com/support to set up the connection to my computer. The site took care of everything. I only had a small problem in making sure the connection the printer w/my USB wire was secure. After that, no problem. I don't have a phone connection as yet for my fax, but am looking forward to it. At present, I have no need for WiFi connections since I don't use it (83 yrs. old & not in the groove), but who knows. Anyway, if the other setups were that easy, I would bet these would also be easy.

Expression Premium XP-810
This is one awesome machine. It does exactly as it is advertised and the print to cd /dvd is just fantastic.
It could use a bit more documentation as it leaves a bit to the imagination other then that the machine is great.

Epson a life style
I give you guys a five star in all categories except one. I only say this because I have had an Epson printer all in one sorry now for seven years, I just recently bought a new one a few days ago. Let me tell you it is smaller, faster, prints double sided and looks bomb and prints well. My only nag or negativity toward all my Epson peeps. The cd you send with it have it find printer and all that so we do not have to go crazy and get all mad then have to call you so that you have to write in all the adrresses and all that mumbo jumbo lol. Over all I have had epson loved it still love Epson, way better that hp your ink and all much better, thank you again for a wonderful product I know and can see I am going to love my xp-810 for the next seven to eight years, and thank you I will buy another at that time just to be that excited with the new model I brought home. Great machines thank you! Keep up the good work and keep smashing hp, canon, and who ever great machines by far and the only problem which is not for I think I can do it all the install, other that that the machine it self speaks for it self top notch machine installation, can be easier but what do I know other than the fact that you Epson makes wonderful all in one's... ty
