Great Projector
This is a nice projector that I have found is light and bright wich are two important things when it comes to buying a projector . I have also found that when playing louder content on the built in speaker it does not raddle wich can be very annoying while watching a movie . It will some times raddle very lightly but that is not a problem for me because I will not use the built in speaker because I am using this projector for my home theater and will use a surround sound system

nice
i got this projector. its my first one. out of the box its good. can definatly fine tune colors make them deeper more vivid. im a total newb and i figured it our i got some white blackout cloth works great as a screen but not as good as a screen. it does not have a audio jack so it makes it kinda difficult to hook up your surround sound while useing hdmi. while the speaker in the projector is ok. its not aduqete enough. over all its a nice projector i would recomend this. sry for spelling

Great projector
After searching around on-line and reading reviews I decided to go ahead and get this projector for outdoor movie nights for my little ones. We absolutely love it. It's so easy to set up. We either put it on the inflatable outdoor screen or even do it indoors on the wall. Would definately recommend. The picture is bright and vibrant on white surface.

Great unit
I have had this unit installed in our basement boy cave for about a month. I am extremely pleased and very satisfied with this purchase. I was initially concerned with the Lumens rating prior to purchase based on ambient light in the room and working with higher rated Epson projectors at my institution. No need to worry, this unit is bright. I am using the unit for XBOX360, cable, AppleTV, and computer all via the HDMI port using a Denon receiver as the switcher. Output from all devices look great at the rated 720p on a 92 inch screen. I could not have made a better choice in this price range. Highly recommend this unit. Thanks Epson.

PowerLite Home Cinema 710HD 720p 3LCD Projector
Have used many brands of projectors over the years in the educational setting. Have recently standardized on Epson for my institution. When putting together a family entertainement cave in the basement, I decided to look at using a projector at home rather than a large flat panel. For my basic needs the 710HD looked perfect on paper. For my needs of XBOX 360, cable, computer and AppleTV 720p would be fine. My initial concern was the rated brightness, I was skeptical based on my knowledge of lumen ratings and what I was used to. Ordered via the Epson Online store, was delivered next day rather than the 3-5 day estimate. Being impatient I needed to test it out before the new space was ready for mounting. Even on a dark painted wall I was very surprised by the brightness and sharpness of this unit. Now that it is mounted and showing on a white screen, Eco mode is more than enough for games, cable and Apple TV displays at 92 inches. Right out of the box the picture quality and colors were very good, upon tweaking I am very impressed and would highly recommend this unit in this price point.

Great upgrade to an already awesome product line.
After owning the 705 HD for about 4 years we finally decided it was time to upgrade when we saw that Epson had released the 710. Not for any faults with the 705 mind you, true to its 5 star rating the 705 has been going strong since we got it.
The 710 is similar to the 705 in physical output layout and size - however the 710 has added a lef/right lens adjustment slider for situations when you cannot place the projector directly head-on to your screen.
The 710 is 300 lumens brighter however, has more resolution selections, and is compatible with more kinds of pc/mac inputs - all of which are plug and play. Those 300 lumens make a HUGE difference - the picture is magnificent even in comparison to the 705's great picture. Even in a brightly lit room the 710 has no problem producing brilliant whites and deep blacks.
Movies, games, and HD television all look stunning on the 710's eco mode - and you can barely hear the thing, which is always a plus. Both the 705 and 710 run at the same operating temp, which is nice given the 300 extra lumens the 710 produces.
Highly satisfied with all my Epson purchases and their customer support - I would/will recommend this projector to anyone who will listen.
