Wireless FAQ #00381i

Q:
How do I know which wireless Network name (SSID) to select if multiple networks appear when I install the printer software?
A:
The software will display all wireless networks available by the order of their signal strength, and your SSID will probably be listed at the top of the list. The SSID name is set by the router or access point, and the default name is usually the brand name of the router or access point.

If you see an SSID (such as Linksys or Netgear) listed more than once, you may want to change the name on the router or access point. See your router or access pointís documentation for the instructions. Note that the name must be changed before the printer software is installed.
