Q:
When running my PowerPoint slideshow, the slide is not filling my 16 x 10 screen. How can I fix this?
A:
Make sure the resolution for your external display on your Laptop is set to 1280 x 800. In PowerPoint change the slide size by doing the following:

  1. From the File menu, click Page Setup.


  2. Under "Slides sized for" menu, choose the correct option. Depending on the version of PowerPoint you are using, you may be able to select 16 x 10; otherwise choose Custom.


  3. If you chose Custom, enter 16 for the Width and 10 for the Height.


    4. Note: All slides in a presentation must be in the same orientation, but you can choose a different orientation for notes, handouts, and the outline.
