Q:
How do I print using black ink only in Macintosh?
A:
The Artisan 800 has an option for Grayscale. It does not have an option for Black Ink Only. Do the following to select Grayscale:

Macintosh OS X 10.5:
  1. Open the File menu and select Print.


  2. Click the arrow to expand the Print window, if necessary.


  3. Select EPSON Artisan 800 as the printer.


  4. Select Print Settings from the pop-up menu.


  5. Select Grayscale output in the Color pop-up menu.

    Note: Grayscale allows you to print in shades of gray.




Macintosh OS X 10.3 and 10.4:
  1. Open the File menu and select Print.


  2. Select Artisan 800 as the Printer setting.


  3. Select Print Settings from the pop-up menu.


  4. Select Grayscale output in the Color pop-up menu.

    Note: Grayscale allows you to print in shades of gray.
