Q:
The Scan-to-Email option will not open my email program in Windows XP. What should I do?
A:
Try the following:

  1. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel.


  2. Open Scanners and Cameras.


  3. Right-click your all-in-one model and select Properties.


  4. Click the Events tab.


  5. In the Select an event drop-down menu, select Scan to Email Button.


  6. Below Actions, select Start this program then Epson Event Manager in the drop-down menu.


  7. Click Apply, then click OK to close the window.


  8. Click Start, Programs, Epson Software, Event Manager.


  9. In the Scan to Email drop-down menu, select Scan to Email.


  10. Click Close.


    11. The Scan to Email option should now open your email program.

    Note: This feature works with MAPI-based email (Microsoft Outlook), but not web-based email (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.).
