Epson WorkForce Pro GT-S80 Document Scanner

If you have ABBYY Fine Reader installed, you can turn off Create searchable PDF in Epson Scan to decrease the time it takes to save a PDF File. (“Create searchable PDF” is an option that allows you to save a PDF file with searchable text.) Follow these steps to disable this setting:

1. Start Epson Scan.



2. Click the  file folder icon next to the Scan button. A File Save Settings window appears.





3. Select PDF for the Type setting under Image Format.



4. Click the Options button.



5. Click the Text tab.





6. Deselect Create searchable PDF.
