Why does the projected image have no color or have a pink or blue cast when I connect my video equipment (DVD player, satellite receiver, etc.) to the projector using a component video cable?
The problem could be caused by the connection or configuration of your video equipment. Check the following:

  • Make sure your component video cable is properly connected. The connectors on the cable are color-coded. The red, green, and blue connectors should be attached to the red, green, and blue component video-out connectors on your equipment and the red, green, and blue component video-in connectors on the projector.

  • A black-and-white image indicates that only the green connector is properly connected. Make sure the red and blue connectors are properly connected.

  • Make sure the projector’s Input Signal setting is set correctly to match the output signal of your connected video equipment.

  • Make sure the connected video equipment is set up to output video to component video.
