Q:
How do I print double-sided automatically?
A:
Open the document or photo you want to print double-sided, then follow the steps below for your operating system to access your print settings.

Windows 2000, XP, Vista

  1. Open the File menu and select Print.


  2. Make sure the Artisan 810 Series is selected as the printer.


  3. Click Properties or Preferences.

    Note:
    If you don’t see these buttons, click Setup, Printer, or Options, then click Properties or Preferences on the next screen.


  4. Click the Page Layout tab.



  5. Select Auto for the 2-sided printing setting.


  6. Click OK.


Macintosh 10.3, 10.4, 10.5

  1. Open the File menu and select Print.


  2. Make sure the Artisan 810 Series is selected as the printer.

    With Macintosh OS X 10.5, click the  button to expand the Print window, if necessary.


  3. Select 2-sided Printing Settings from the pop-up menu.



  4. Select 2-sided Printing.


  5. Select the binding option you want.


  6. Select the type of document you’re printing.


  7. Adjust the print density and drying time to prevent ink from bleeding through the page when you print on plain paper.
