Dim the room lights and turn off any fluorescent lights. Make sure the projector is not in direct sunlight. Strong lighting, especially fluorescent lights, may affect the projector’s infrared receivers. To avoid interference, you can also turn off the projector’s front or back sensor with the Remote Receiver setting, but this may limit where you can use the remote control. Customizing Projector Features.
Turn off any nearby equipment that emits infrared energy, such as a radiant room heater.
Make sure there are no objects between the remote control and the IR receiver.
If you’re using the remote control as a wireless mouse, make sure the USB Type B setting in the Extended menu is set to Wireless Mouse. See Customizing Power and Operation.
