What are the system requirements for using PictureMate with my computer?
A:
See the requirements below for your computer system:

Windows
  • A Microsoft Windows-compatible PC with an 800 MHz processor or faster


  • Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Vista, or Windows 7


  • 256MB RAM for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (512MB recommended)


    • 512MB RAM for Windows Vista (1GB recommended)

  • 300MB free hard disk space (550MB recommended)


  • SVGA monitor with at least a 256-color display


  • 4× or faster CD-ROM drive for installing the software


  • USB 1.1 port (minimum) or USB 2.0 port (recommended)


  • Shielded USB “AB” cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long

Macintosh
  • An Apple Macintosh with a PowerPC or Intel processor


  • Macintosh OS X 10.3.9, 10.4.11, 10.5, or 10.6


  • 256MB RAM (512MB recommended)


  • 300MB free hard disk space (550MB recommended)


  • SVGA monitor with at least a 256 color display


  • 4× or faster CD-ROM drive for installing the software

Caution: Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause PictureMate to malfunction.
