Epson PhotoPC Mac

Selected FAQ

Q:
How are the images stored in the PhotoPC?
A:
Images are stored in the camera's flash memory as a JPEG image. The advantage of using flash memory for storage is that images can be retained for up to one year without power. For example, if a user runs out of batteries while on the road, the images are still safely stored in the camera waiting to be downloaded onto the computer. Storage of the image as a JPEG file is also advantageous because JPEG images are not proprietary and can be imported into numerous software applications.
