PhotoPC 500 Color Digital Camera

Selected FAQ

What makes the EPSON PhotoPC 500 Internet-ready/Web-ready?
Unlike other digital cameras which store images in a proprietary file format, the PhotoPC 500 stores its images as standard JPEG files (one of the de facto imaging file standards on the Internet). This means that users can add PhotoPC images immediately to Web pages without having to go through a time-consuming conversion process. As an added bonus, the PhotoPC 500 is bundled with the exclusive EPSON Internet Sampler Pak (up to a $300 value) to enable users to surf the Net, create their own picture-enhanced web page, or send an Internet photo postcard. If using MAPI compliant Internet Browser e-mail, you can send images directly from within Postcards from the Net (Microsoft Explorer v3.0 or greater is one example). Other packages can attach the images to e-mail messages. This also works with Navigator from Netscape.
