PhotoPC 650 Digital Camera

Selected FAQ

Q:
I upgraded my MAC OS to 9.1 (upgrade or full install) and now when I try to acquire an image from my Epson PhotoPC 650 Digital Camera using the TWAIN in HotShots, my Mac will lock up, I am unable to do anything else but hit the reset button. What can I do?
A:
There is a compatibility issue with the Hot Shots Program MAC Version 1.5.08 that comes with the Epson PhotoPC 650 Digital Camera and Macintosh OS 9.1. The solution is to use The "Jump Shot" Card Reader to get your images on to the PC's Hard Drive. The Compact Flash Card shows up on the desktop as an "untitled" diskette. Open the untitled diskette, you will see a directory called "PhotoPC650", open this directory and copy the image files to a directory created on your hard drive. Open the Hot Shots Program, and Select "Open a Picture, or "Create a Collection". You will then be able to open and work with your images. Note: Copying the files to the desktop is not sufficient - they must be copied to the hard drive.
