You should download and install the Intel-based Mac driver for your printer. If you cannot do this for some reason, you can also configure your current PowerPC driver (which you installed from the CD) to run in Rosetta mode. Note that printing will be slower with the PowerPC driver.

To use the PowerPC driver in Rosetta mode, follow these steps:

1. Open the Hard Drive.



2. Select > Applications > Utilities > Printer Setup Utility.



3. Select Get Info from the File menu.



4. Click the Open using Rosetta check box in the General section of the Printer Setup Utility Info window.






5. Close the window.

Note: The Power PC driver is noticeably slower on an Intel-based Mac.
