Q:
How do I use the EPSON ZIP drive in a DOS session on a Macintosh?
A:
Before attempting to access a ZIP drive from a Macintosh with an MS-DOS compatible card, the latest version of PC Exchange or Access PC must be installed on the computer and the ZIP disk must be formatted in MS-DOS. Insert a disk into the ZIP drive and wait for it to mount on the desktop. Open the PC Setup Control Panel, select the drive letter to use for the ZIP drive under the Sharing Icon. After you select a drive letter, an open dialog box appears. Click the desktop button and locate the ZIP drive disk you want to share. Select the ZIP disk and click the button that says "Select [disk name]". Switch to MS-DOS, and the ZIP drive will be accessible with the drive letter specified in step 3. NOTE: You may need to repeat the steps above each time you start the computer.
