What driver should I use to print from my DOS applications?
Epson did not write drivers for DOS applications except for a few very popular DOS programs like earlier verions of WordPerfect, Lotus and AutoCAD for DOS. The software companies usually provided the printer drivers with their software since each driver was unique to the application under DOS. In recent years most software has been developed for Windows so most of the newer Epson printers will not be listed among the printers supported in older DOS software. In your user’s manual there is a list of printers to select if your exact model is not listed in your software.
If you have an EPSON Ink Jet printer, LQ or ActionPrinter Series 24-pin EPSON printer, you can try selecting one of the following printer models if they are provided with your software:
EPSON 24-Pin Compatible
24-Pin Dot Matrix
If you have an EX, FX, LX, MX or ActionPrinter Series 9-pin EPSON printer, you can try selecting one of the following printer models if they are provided with your software:
EPSON 9-Pin Compatible
9-Pin Dot Matrix
