LQ-2550 Impact Printer

Default settings for the LQ-2550 are specified via the front panel SelecType feature.


The following features are available via switches on the front panel:

Tear Off:	To enable or disable the auto tear off feature
Micro Feed:	For adjusting the tip of form position
Platen Gap Adjust:	For manually adjusting the platen gap for specific form thickness
SelectType:	To enter the SelecType setup mode
Paper Select:	For selecting between Tractor, Friction, or CSF Modes
Font:	Cycles through the available fonts for selection. The resident fonts are: Draft, Roman, Sans Serif, Courier, Prestige, Script, OCR-B, and OCR-A.
Pitch:	Cycles through the available pitch settings. The pitch may be set to one of the following values: 10, 12, 15, CPI, or Proportional.
Condensed:	Selects condensed for the currently selected font and pitch setting. 15 pitch can not be condensed.

Four macros may be specified, each containing a combination
of the following features:

Left Margin:
Column O-80 at 10 CPI

Right Margin:
Columns 1-136 at 10 CPI

Character Generator Table:
Italic, Epson Extended Graphic, Download (User-Defined)
