Q:
I have connected my printer via USB in Windows 7, but the hardware Wizard fails to install the built-in Windows 7 driver. What should I do?
A:
Follow these steps:

  1. Click and select Devices and Printers.


  2. Right-click your printer and select Printer Properties.


  3. Click the Ports tab.


  4. Uncheck the box for the LPT1 port and select the appropriate USB port.


  5. Click Apply, then print a test page.
