What Macintosh computer systems are compatible with the printer?
You can use any Macintosh or Power Macintosh model except the Macintosh SE/30, Macintosh LC, Macintosh Plus, Macintosh 512K, Macintosh 128k, Macintosh IIfx, Macintosh +, Macintosh 512, Macintosh Classic Series, Macintosh Portable, Macintosh SE, or PowerBook 100. System 7.1 or higher is the required operating system, at least 8MB of RAM (16MB or more is recommended), at least 20MB of free hard disk space for storing images (40MB or more is recommended), VGA (8 bit, 640 x 480) or better display and monitor, and a standard Apple System/Peripheral-8 cable or equivalent. Cables can be purchased through EPSON Accessories. The part number for a 6-foot cable is F2V024-06 or a 10-foot cable is F2V024-10.
