The printer comes with both a USB and parallel printer port. It includes a Type-B interface card slot for adding an optional Firewire or Ethernet adapter. The multi-protocol Ethernet adapter connects the printer to almost any network through a network hub or switch. The FireWire adapter lets you connect to both Mac and PC FireWire-compatible systems for data rates up to 400MB per second.
