How do I uninstall the printer driver from Windows?
A:
To uninstall software programs in Windows 2000, it is necessary to log on as a user with administrative privileges (a user who belongs to the Administrators group).

To uninstall software programs in Windows XP, it is necessary to log on with a Computer Administrator account.
You cannot uninstall software programs if you log on as a Limited account user.

Turn off the printer and disconnect the cable from the printer.

For Windows Me, 2000 and 98 users, click the Start button and select Settings, then choose Control Panel.

If you are using the USB port to connect the printer in Windows Me or 98, you need to uninstall an additional USB component. Select EPSON USB Printer Device from the list in the Add/Remove Programs utility, then click the Add/Remove button and click OK when a message prompts you to restart the computer.

If you are using the IEEE 1394 (FireWire) port to connect the printer in Windows XP, Me, or 2000, you need to uninstall an additional IEEE component. Select EPSON 1394.3 Printer Devices from the list in the Add/Remove Programs utility, then click the Add/Remove button and click OK when a message prompts you to restart the computer.
