I heard a grinding sound from my Stylus C80 when I first turned it on out of the box. Is this normal? |

Yes, due to the material used on the roller and pad you may hear a grinding sound as they are rubbed together if no paper is loaded. Normally this will not be the case when paper is loaded. However when the printer is out of paper or especially on initial power on this sound will be most noticeable. |
