Epson Stylus Photo 825 Ink Jet Printer

Q:
How can I maximize the print speed on my Macintosh?
A:
Verify that your system meets the system requirements. The print speed is dependent upon the amount of RAM in your system, the computer's processor, and the amount of free hard drive space in your computer.

To print multiple copies of your document faster, select High Speed Copies. This speeds up printing by using your hard disk space as a cache when printing multiple copies of your document.

Verify that you are using the EPSON Stylus Photo 825 driver. Choose Black ink in the driver software if your document is black text only.

If you are using Background printing, try turning it off. If you must use Background printing, allocate more memory to the EPSON Monitor3. Close any background applications that are running.

In the printer software menu set the Quality/Speed slider to Speed.
