Epson Stylus Photo 925 Ink Jet Printer

Q:
How can I maximize the print speed from my PC?
A:
Verify that your system meets the system requirements. The print speed is dependent upon the amount of RAM in your system, the type and speed of your interface, the computer's processor, and the amount of free hard drive space and degree of fragmentation of hard drive space in your computer.

To print multiple copies of your document faster, select High Speed Copies. This speeds up printing by using your hard disk space as a cache when printing multiple copies of your document.

Verify that you are using the EPSON Stylus Photo 925 driver. Choose Black ink in the driver software if your document is black text only.

In the printer software menu set the Quality/Speed slider to Speed. You can also select Custom and select the print resolution you wish. If you don't need the highest quality, a photo printed at 720 dpi looks great and will print much faster than a 1440 dpi or 2880 dpi graphic.
