The minimum system requirements are:
- An Apple iMac series, Power Macintosh, G3, or G4 with native USB port
- Mac OS 8.5.1 through Mac OS 9.x. (Mac OS 9.0 or later recommended)
- 16MB of available RAM (32MB recommended)
- 50MB of free hard disk space (100MB recommended)
- CD-ROM or DVD drive for installing the printer software
- VGA display or better
- A shielded USB "AB" cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long. Caution! Using an improperly shielded USB cable - especially more than 6.5 feet (2 meters) long - may cause the printer to malfunction.
