Even after calibrating, vertical lines aren't quite straight.
A:
Print the Demo page to ensure the printer is operating properly. If the print is normal, try moving the printer to another computer to eliminate the possibility of a defective printer cable, parallel port, or software issue. If the problem persists, try recalibrating the printer with the EPSON Printer Calibration in Windows or the ecalib.exe utility program in MS-DOS, ensuring that the correct printer name has been selected. Make sure to turn the printer OFF using the printer's power switch after calibration. If you power the printer OFF using a power strip, surge protector, or power director the settings will not be saved. Try printing again to see if the print quality has improved. If this does not correct the problem, the printer may need to be sent in for service. If the printer is within the dealer's exchange period, have the printer exchanged.
