To print banners correctly, you must have the correct paper size set in the printer driver settings. You can print up to 44" in height/length using continuous feed paper (banner paper). Follow these steps to set the driver for 44" printing:

Windows 95:

• Go to Start, Settings, Printers....
• Highlight your printer, then click File (in the menu bar), Properties....
• Select the Main Tab at top OR select Details tab, Setup (if you do not have a Main tab)
• In the Paper Size settings, select User Defined, then specify 44" in height.....
• Click Apply (if available), then OK.

The correct paper size is now set and you may proceed with printing your banner.

Unfortunately, PrintShop Deluxe customers (and possibly other programs) may be unable to define a user definable page width. This is a software issue that should be addressed by your software vendor technical support staff.

If you are using Print Artist there are some modifications that you need to make before printing. After you create your banner, proceed with the following changes:

* Click Edit in the menu, then Change Dimension...Make sure the width is set to 43" (or less) and the height is set to 8" (or less). (For portrait banner, set the width to 8" and the height to 43")

The banner is now ready to print.

• Click File in the menu, then Print.....
• Click on Print Options, then select Stretch to page(s), then OK....
• You will be back in Print Control Panel / Preview , Change the Percent Size if necessary so that the width is 43 (or less) and the height is 8 (or less). The banner print preview should display the banner stretching across 4 pages (if banner stretches over 5 or more pages, reduce the percent size until the banner is on 4 (or less) pages.

Print your banner.
