Epson Stylus Color 1520 Ink Jet Printer

Selected FAQ

Q:
I installed the driver into Windows 95 or 98 and now my printer prints very slow. What's the problem?
A:
Make sure that the adjust lever (located under the cover of the printer) is set to "0," not the "+" setting. Verify that you are using the EPSON Stylus COLOR 1520 driver. To determine which driver is the default driver, go to the Start menu, select Settings, then Printers. With your right-mouse button, click on the EPSON Stylus COLOR 1520 icon and look to see if there is a check mark in front of the "Set As Default" option. If it does not have a check mark on "Set As Default," select that option and close the Printers window. Close any background applications running. Close and re-open the application you were trying to print from, then try printing again. Verify your system meets the minimum system requirements. Refer to the Introduction of your User's Guide for more information. Also, make sure you are using a fully-shielded parallel cable, preferably 6 feet or less.
