Q:
The On Line light is on. Why isn't anything printing?
A:
Your computer may not be properly connected to the printer. Check both ends of the cable between your printer and computer. Also, make sure your interface cable meets the specifications for your printer and computer. Make sure your software is properly setup for your printer. Check to see if the imaging cartridge is empty; if necessary, replace it. If you are using an optional serial interface, make sure you set the baud rate, protocol, data bit, and related settings correctly. If you are using a parallel interface, check the Speed setting the SelecType to match the value the computer requires. You may have to set Speed to Normal and Bi-Di to Off if you are having communication problems (refer to Chapter 3 of your User's Guide for more information).
