Epson Perfection 1260 Scanner

These are the minimum system requirements. For optimum performance, a faster processor and more memory are recommended. Scanning at higher resolutions may create very large files that can exceed system requirements. You cannot use a serial, SCSI, FireWire or 3rd party interface to connect the scanner.

• Apple^® Macintosh computer (blue and white G3, G4 or higher, or iMac) running Mac OS 8.6 - 9.2.2, (OS X 10.1.2 Classic mode only*).
  Note for Mac OS X users: You can use the scanner only in the Classic mode. If you are using a version earlier than 10.1.2, switch to Mac OS 9 to use the scanner.
• Built-in USB port or self-powered hub connection
• 128MB RAM
• 275MB available hard disk space
• CD-ROM (4x or faster) or DVD drive
• Mouse or pointing device
• VGA color monitor with at least 256 colors
• 24-bit color recommended

Note: Color and tone reproductions are subject to the display capability of your computer system, including the video card, monitor, and software. See the documentation for these products for details. EPSON TWAIN supports the Apple ColorSync(tm) 2.x color management system and QuickTime. These extensions are automatically installed during EPSON TWAIN installation.

*Note: You must install the drivers and programs in true OS 9.x first before you can use the scanner in Classic mode.
