How do I tell what scanning resolution to use for the best results?
A:
Here are some recommended settings for different types of scans.

- Newspaper TextBridge or Image Type:
- (text only) PageManager OCR**** 300 or

- Text for OCR TextBridge or Image Type:
- PageManager OCR**** 300 or
- 400 dpi*****
- Text with TextBridge or Image Type:
- images PageManager Line art 300 or
- B/W option: 400 dpi*****

- **** Automatically selects Text Enhancement Technology (TET) as your B/W option.
- ***** If you are enlarging your image, you must manually change the resolution (dpi).
