Depending on which interface your system supports, all models of the Expression 1600 can be connected via its standard USB port or for faster throughput, a SCSI interface can be used. The newest method is the optional IEEE-1394 (FireWire) scanner interface which is standard on the Professional FireWire Model. Firewire is only compatible with blue and white PowerMac G3, G4 and DV-iMac.
