This would indicate that the projector is overheating and will automatically turn off the lamp. Let the projector cool for a few minutes, then turn it back on. Make sure that nothing is blocking the ventilation vents. There is a possibility that the air filter is clogged. Refer to Chapter 4 of the User's Guide for maintenance information on the air filter. If the projector continues to overheat after cleaning the air filter, the projector should be looked at by a qualified service person.
