PowerLite 713c Multimedia Projector

The remote control has it's own on/off switch on the side of the remote marked R/C. Make sure the R/C switch is in the "ON" position. Try replacing the batteries. The lighting in the room or the angle you are pointing at may be affecting the infra-red signal from reaching the projector properly.
